Welcome to The Place! We are small shop located in Alder Flats, Alberta offering quality local, handmade and curated goods. We strive to have a little bit of everything to offer to the local community + seasonal tourists. Our town may be small but we have a lot to offer and an amazing tightknit community. Our shop is located in a former church building, which we have renovated to both modernize and preserve the history of the original 1937 building. We will be offering the shop, a coffee bar making handcrafted beverages as well as having a space for creative classes. Opening Spring 2024 we will be looking for consignment vendors. Consignment rates are 65% vendor/35% shop. A $5/month admin fee will also be applied. If you think you'd be a good fit, please fill out our application.
